March Newsletter
Hello hello!
Fair warning, this update will mainly be side quests, travel, and the intro to your next favorite movie star! If you’re looking for illustration updates beyond the Two Moons restock, come back in April!

I got to be a bridesmaid (and wear the pinkest dress imaginable)!
Outside the Studio

March Two Moons update is very blue, and includes a new mobile checkout through Venmo and postcards! I’m hoping to get back there this month and add some unframed prints as well.

The Gift. Mixed media on canvas, 2025.
The Gift was accepted into Women Wise at Mosaic Art Collective! She’ll be on view from March 9th to the 30th, and I hope to see you at the reception on March 14th from 5-7pm.

Midnight Oil Updates

UR FAVORITE MOVIE STARRR
So much happened in February that I honestly forgot I hadn’t told you about this, but I was in a movie! It’s an independent film called Ho Ho Ho (set during the holidays) and I got to play the emcee during the few scenes at the karaoke bar. This was so much fun. I started out Very Nervous and kept re-checking my lines on my iPad (which I brought, like an obnoxious theatre girl) but after I got to yapping with the rest of the cast and crew, it was so much fun.
I also drank 5 million soda waters (yay unexpected perks!)
Since I’d been waiting to get new headshots until I had my hair colored again, once the dye went on it was definitely time! I connected with a local photographer/artist via Discord and had some photos taken at one of the old mill buildings in Manchester. I love how they turned out!

As of writing this, I’ve officially been in rehearsals for Larceny and Old Lace for two weeks! This is such a strange, anachronistic play and I can’t wait to portray Uncle Charlie against all these great characters!
Also, I’m planning my own little campaign for advertising the production/inviting my friends and family. Do you want a weird little unofficial keepsake invite? Sign up here.
I also got to set up my little Photo Booth at rehearsal and take some updated headshots for everyone over there! Small world, haha.
Et Cetera

Golden hour!
After Becca’s wedding and camping with her in Texas, I got stranded in Charlotte!
Their airport was very nice (even though by the time I was stuck there I bordered on delirious) and I bought and read two books while trying to get home. I had also never been to Texas (or Charlotte!) before, so that was nice to check off the list.
Also, the abbreviation for the Charlotte airport is (very humorously) CLT. You’re welcome.

They had some beautiful installations too!
I also said goodbye to the diner this month. It was a very difficult decision, but I am so excited for my next adventure and so thankful for the time I got to spend with all my fellow waitresses.
My next job also involves making milkshakes— go figure!

And that’s all for now!
I’m so excited for all these projects coming to fruition, and hope you’re doing well too!
More soon and all my love,
Alex :)
